Gemima is a private female founded diamond and design house based in London with a contemporary workshop in Hatton Garden. Turning 10 in 2025, the house has faceted a name in the fine jewellery landscape for doing diamonds differently.
Gemima began her diamond career on fine jewellery's flagship road Bond Street, working for the British fine jewellery house Boodles. She left to study gemmology and graduated from GIA before working for the master craftsmen David Marshall in Mayfair. Through instagram her personal following grew, and clients started to commission private pieces with a younger contemporary design.
"I've always been an old soul with a contemporary eye. The marriage of the two is a beautiful chaos of creativity, add a touch of perfectionism and thats a perfect recipe for a diamond buyer and jewellery designer I'd say!"
"Im very passionate about slowing down and homing in on the finer details. I love the process of curation, sourcing line ups of raw diamonds for clients. Although I may only present 5 or 6 stones in an appointment the process of refining those 6 from hundreds of stones is where my perfectionism takes centre stage."
