This year we celebrate a decade in diamonds, a milestone for a private - female founded fine jewellery house. Over the past ten years our distinctive direction has been faceted, a service to perfection, sourcing rare gems from all corners of the world to uncover the best in class in every category. We have always worked with a direct to client transparency, eliminating intermediaries and offering precious natural gemstones and diamonds to our loyal clients. From the rarest paribias and type 2a diamonds to unearthing lost estate jewels. “Every day is different, just like diamonds, no two are ever the same.”
THE FOUNDER
Gemima Macdonald founded her eponymous brand under her own name in 2015 after graduating from GIA as a graduate gemmologist. Through social media and working for fine jewellery houses Boodles and David Marshall, she became a contemporary voice in diamonds showcasing the stones she found along the way.
“The brand was born after friends and family referred me time and time again to source and design custom pieces, a decade later I’ve never done advertising or marketing, just organic referrals, word of mouth and genuine unscripted social media.”
As a designer Gemima is an unapologetic perfectionist. Every detail from the fit to the final polish is crucially examined. “Trust me it’s personal, if someone is wearing a piece with my name on it, it has to be perfect.” She is inspired by the stones she designs for, each piece embodies a celebration of nature, femininity and timeless elegance crafted to showcase the stone and celebration it has been commissioned for.
